Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly driven Chartered Accountant to lead the finance and accounting function for our international business operations. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, compliance, accounting, taxation, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning across multiple international entities while partnering closely with business leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Finance Controller for multiple international entities across UAE, Thailand, KSA, Bahrain, and other new geographies.
  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations in SAP and resolve day-to-day accounting issues.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, ensuring audits and financial reviews are completed within defined timelines.
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors and drive timely resolution of audit observations.
  • Ensure robust internal financial controls and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Develop and publish monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and business performance analysis for leadership.
  • Lead cash flow planning, forecasting, and fund deployment in line with Board-approved plans.
  • Serve as a trusted finance advisor to the CEO and senior leadership for international business operations.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage corporate tax planning, compliance, and reviews for UAE and Thailand operations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Finance team on debt planning, repayments, and interest servicing.
  • Ensure compliance with Related Party Transactions (RPT), Companies Act, LODR requirements, and transfer pricing regulations.
  • Mentor and guide finance teams across international locations.
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all international finance and accounting matters across the organization.
  • Support additional finance, accounting, taxation, and compliance initiatives as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
  • Strong understanding of EPC business and Percentage of Completion Method (PCM) accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP is mandatory.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of AI productivity tools such as Claude and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, auditing, taxation, treasury, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience managing finance operations for multinational entities or international businesses.
  • Exposure to cross-border taxation, transfer pricing, and multi-country statutory compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and partner with senior business leadership.
