Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic SCM Senior Executive with experience in rooftop solar EPC projects to support procurement, SAP operations, project costing, and techno-commercial bidding activities for domestic and Middle East projects. The role will involve procurement coordination, estimation, vendor management, SAP-based procurement processes, and supporting pre-sales and tendering functions for rooftop solar EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & SCM Operations
- Execute procurement activities for rooftop solar projects including modules, inverters, structures, cables, electricals, and BOS items.
- Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and procurement workflows in SAP.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, finance, and stores teams for timely procurement and material delivery.
- Float RFQs, obtain quotations, prepare techno-commercial comparisons, and support vendor finalization.
- Track material dispatches, logistics movement, and delivery schedules through SAP and vendor coordination.
- Maintain procurement MIS, vendor master data, and procurement documentation records.
- Support vendor onboarding, compliance documentation, and procurement audits.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, approval workflows, and commercial compliance.
Costing, Estimation & Tendering Support
- Prepare detailed project costing and estimation sheets for rooftop solar EPC projects during pre-sales and bidding stages.
- Coordinate with business development, sales, and tendering teams for techno-commercial bidding support across Middle East projects.
- Support the pre-sales team in preparing budgetary proposals, commercial offers, and customer submissions.
- Conduct preliminary project cost analysis based on customer requirements, site conditions, and project specifications.
- Prepare BOQ, BOM, and procurement cost estimates for modules, inverters, structures, cables, and BOS materials.
- Obtain budgetary quotations from vendors during tendering and proposal stages.
- Track market price trends for major solar materials and provide cost benchmarking inputs for GCC and Middle East markets.
- Support management in preparing pricing strategies, margin analysis, and bid competitiveness for regional EPC projects.
- Evaluate Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.) and assess commercial impact during procurement and bidding stages.
- Support procurement budgeting for projects in UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC countries.
Must Have Skills
- Experience in procurement/SCM for rooftop solar EPC projects.
- Hands-on experience in SAP procurement processes and documentation.
- Knowledge of project costing, estimation, and techno-commercial tendering.
- Understanding of rooftop solar system components and BOS materials.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, BOM preparation, and cost estimation methodologies.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and procurement commercial terms.
- Strong coordination, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement MIS management.
Good to Have Skills
- Exposure to Middle East/GCC solar EPC projects.
- Knowledge of SAP MM module.
- Understanding of logistics and international procurement processes.
- Experience in EPC or renewable energy industry.
