About the Role
The Analytical Engineer is a key member of the Asset Management team. The role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of solar power plants across the portfolio.
The incumbent will proactively identify performance issues, drive data-backed insights, and support resolution through coordination with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring optimal plant efficiency and uptime.
Key Responsibilities
Plant Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor and analyze performance of solar power plants using Remote Monitoring Systems (Quadrical, Suryalog, QoS, DataGlen, Kaihatsu, etc.).
- Identify performance gaps, generation losses, and system inefficiencies, and support timely resolution.
- Continuously track plant performance metrics and highlight deviations from expected benchmarks.
Reporting & Insights
- Prepare and publish daily generation reports and performance dashboards.
- Generate actionable insights to improve plant efficiency and support decision-making.
Systems & Technology Management
- Handle and troubleshoot IoT-related issues on an ongoing basis.
- Integrate new solar plants into SCADA / monitoring systems for seamless tracking and analysis.
- Manage CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), including raising tickets, alarms, and tracking issue closure.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Work on Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to enhance monitoring, analytics, and operational efficiency.
- Drive adherence to Turnaround Time (TAT) for issue identification and resolution.
- Support implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within Asset Management.

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in plant monitoring, analytics, or performance analysis (solar/renewable industry preferred)
- Experience with platforms such as Quadrical, QoS, DataGlen, Kaihatsu, Suryalog, or similar tools
- Basic understanding of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 55001:2014 standards

- Authorized to escalate and issue notices to vendors for non-compliance with SLA timelines and performance standards
