Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in the solar industry to lead and manage rooftop and ground-mounted PV projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in project execution, safety compliance, vendor management, and statutory approvals, with the ability to independently manage the entire project cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety practices, PPE requirements, and preparation of HIRA & site-specific work method statements.
- Oversee erection, installation, and commissioning of PV power projects.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, reporting, risk assessments, and problem-solving activities.
- Independently manage the entire project cycle from planning to completion.
- Verify that all work aligns with approved construction drawings, contracts, specifications, and applicable local/national/international standards.
- Coordinate vendor management and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Handle statutory approvals and legal compliance related to project execution.
- Interpret and work with engineering drawings effectively.
- Travel and stay at various project sites across South India as required.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of solar rooftop systems (metal roof, RCC, and ground-mounted).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
