Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic professional to join the Project Finance (Debt) team, supporting fund-raising activities for wind and solar energy projects. The role involves working closely with lenders, managing due diligence processes, and ensuring timely execution of financing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support fund-raising activities by engaging with lenders and financial institutions for project financing
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate project viability and funding requirements
- Prepare and manage data rooms for lender due diligence processes
- Assist in preparing fund-raising proposals and presentations for prospective lenders
- Anchor and coordinate various due diligences including technical, commercial, and legal as required by lenders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with land, treasury, asset management/operations, and business development teams to address lender queries
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely execution of loan documentation
- Track and ensure compliance with all pre-commitment and pre-disbursement conditions stipulated by lenders
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of financial statements and financial modelling
- Knowledge of project finance and debt structuring
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and timelines
Qualifications & Experience:
- CA / MBA (Finance) / Commerce Graduate
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in project finance, corporate finance, or banking/financial services
