Role Objective

To monitor network infrastructure, handle incidents, and ensure high system uptime

Key Responsibilities

Network & System Monitoring

  • Monitor network devices, servers, and applications using NOC monitoring tools
  • Track system performance, uptime, and availability in real-time
  • Identify and respond to alerts, anomalies, and outages

Incident Management (ITSM)

  • Log, categorize, and prioritize incidents in ITSM tools
  • Escalate unresolved or critical issues to L2/L3 teams
  • Maintain detailed incident records and updates

Troubleshooting & Support

  • Perform initial (L1/L2) troubleshooting for network and system issues
  • Coordinate with internal teams, ISPs, and vendors for resolution

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor bandwidth utilization, latency, and system health
  • Generate daily/weekly incident and uptime reports
  • Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues

Education & Experience

  • BSc-IT / Diploma / BE / BTech or equivalent
  • 2–4 years of experience in NOC / Network Monitoring / IT Infrastructure roles
