Job Purpose
To monitor, maintain, and optimize SCADA systems for solar power plants, ensuring accurate data acquisition, real-time monitoring, and improved plant performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
· Monitor solar plant performance through SCADA systems on a real-time basis
· Analyze generation, irradiation, and equipment data to identify performance gaps
· Troubleshoot SCADA issues, communication failures, and field device faults
· Ensure seamless data acquisition from inverters, meters, weather stations, and other devices
· Coordinate with site O&M teams for fault resolution and system restoration
· Maintain SCADA servers, PLCs, RTUs, and communication networks
· Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
· Improve SCADA vs actual data accuracy and reduce deviations
· Configure alarms, alerts, and event monitoring systems
· Support new plant integration and SCADA commissioning activities
· Ensure cybersecurity, system integrity, and compliance documentation

Educational Qualification
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
Experience
· 4 to 6 years of experience in SCADA systems, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects

Technical Skills
· Knowledge of SCADA architecture and operation
· Experience with PLC systems (Siemens / Schneider / Allen-Bradley)
· Familiarity with communication protocols (MODBUS, OPC, IEC 60870-5-104)
· Understanding of solar plant equipment and power systems
· Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, Fiber optics, switches, routers)
· Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis
