Job Summary:
The Senior Draughtsman – Civil Structures is responsible for preparing accurate civil and structural drawings for rooftop solar PV projects, including GA drawings, fabrication drawings, foundations, BBS, and BOMs, based on inputs from the Design Engineer. The role also involves coordination with cross-functional teams and providing site support as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare GA and fabrication drawings for rooftop PV mounting structures using AutoCAD.
- Develop foundation drawings for transformers, inverters, inverter stations, and electrical panels.
- Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for RCC foundations.
- Develop detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) as per approved drawings.
- Coordinate with design and other departments to ensure error-free drawings.
- Provide site support and accompany the Design Engineer when required.
Requirements:
- ITI – Civil Draughtsman qualification.
- 3–5 years of experience in civil structural drafting and steel detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to site as required.
