Role Overview:
The HSE Senior Engineer will support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) systems across large-scale Wind and Solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M) sites. The role involves ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate HSE standards, assisting in audits, conducting training sessions, and supporting environmental and social management activities, including ESIA implementation.
The position requires hands-on engagement at the site level to drive safe operations, foster awareness, and ensure continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support implementation of HSE management systems and ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification activities.
• Assist in Arc Flash risk assessments, LOTO implementation, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Facilitate and conduct HSE induction, toolbox talks, and safety training programs for site teams and contractors.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the HSE audit process, including preparation of reports and coordination for corrective action follow-up.
• Assist in Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) monitoring and implementation of Environmental Management Plans (EMP).
• Maintain HSE documentation, performance records, and submit reports to the HSE Manager on a regular basis.
• Promote a culture of safety through regular awareness sessions and field engagements.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Environmental Science / Safety Management (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
• Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE within Renewable Energy (Wind/Solar) or Power sector O&M.
• Knowledge of HSE audits, Arc Flash safety, LOTO systems, and ESIA processes.

• Internal Auditor – ISO 45001 / ISO 14001
• NEBOSH / IOSH Certification
• Arc Flash / Electrical Safety Training
• ESIA / EHS Due Diligence awareness certification
