Role Overview
CleanMax serves corporate clients in the private sector through long-term renewable energy solutions. As a Manager / Sr. Manager – Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving growth by originating and closing new contracts for dedicated solar and wind projects with corporate customers. This is a high-visibility, front-facing role requiring strong analytical ability, stakeholder management, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
You will be part of the West India Business Development team, working closely with senior leadership and C-level decision-makers to support clients on their renewable energy and Net Zero journeys.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with corporate clients in West India
- Engage with C-level stakeholders (CFO, COO, CEO, CPO, VPs, Directors) to build long-term strategic relationships
- Advise clients on renewable energy sourcing strategies, Net Zero and carbon neutrality goals
- Develop techno-commercial proposals, financial models, and energy load analyses for deal closures
- Conceptualize new offerings aligned with client sustainability and cost optimization objectives
- Lead client negotiations and manage large, complex contracts (INR 2.5 Cr to INR 500 Cr)
- Coordinate with internal teams across technical evaluation, proposal development, and project execution
- Drive repeat business by expanding existing client relationships
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market developments
Must-Have Skills & Competencies
- 2–4 years of experience in consulting, front-facing finance, business development, sales, marketing, or product management
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and complex negotiations
- High ownership mindset with strong drive and energy
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience working with large corporates or MNCs
- Prior exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or sustainability-related roles
Qualifications
- B.Tech or Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) from a premier institute
