Role Overview

CleanMax serves corporate clients in the private sector through long-term renewable energy solutions. As a Manager / Sr. Manager – Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving growth by originating and closing new contracts for dedicated solar and wind projects with corporate customers. This is a high-visibility, front-facing role requiring strong analytical ability, stakeholder management, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
You will be part of the West India Business Development team, working closely with senior leadership and C-level decision-makers to support clients on their renewable energy and Net Zero journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with corporate clients in West India
  • Engage with C-level stakeholders (CFO, COO, CEO, CPO, VPs, Directors) to build long-term strategic relationships
  • Advise clients on renewable energy sourcing strategies, Net Zero and carbon neutrality goals
  • Develop techno-commercial proposals, financial models, and energy load analyses for deal closures
  • Conceptualize new offerings aligned with client sustainability and cost optimization objectives
  • Lead client negotiations and manage large, complex contracts (INR 2.5 Cr to INR 500 Cr)
  • Coordinate with internal teams across technical evaluation, proposal development, and project execution
  • Drive repeat business by expanding existing client relationships
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market developments

Must-Have Skills & Competencies

  • 2–4 years of experience in consulting, front-facing finance, business development, sales, marketing, or product management
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and complex negotiations
  • High ownership mindset with strong drive and energy

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience working with large corporates or MNCs
  • Prior exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or sustainability-related roles


Qualifications

  • B.Tech or Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) from a premier institute
