Role Summary:

The Asset Management (AM) Cluster Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of solar power plants within a designated cluster. This role involves real-time monitoring, performance analysis, vendor coordination, and reporting, aimed at ensuring maximum plant uptime, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Monitoring

  • Daily remote monitoring of plant performance via SCADA/remote portals.
  • Identify underperformance or faults and initiate corrective actions with O&M partners.
  • Conduct daily string-level and inverter-level performance reviews.
  • Ensure plant operations align with utility requirements and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) terms.

Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with O&M contractors for scheduled (PM) and breakdown (CM) maintenance.
  • Periodically audit vendor maintenance practices to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Train and guide site-level vendor personnel on operational safety, reporting, and efficiency.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and review Daily Generation Reports (DGR), Weekly Generation Reports (WGR), and Monthly MIS.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Billing teams on JMR (Joint Meter Reading) and AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) data alignment.
  • Present weekly generation summaries to the COO and internal stakeholders.

Performance & Compliance

  • Drive improvements in plant uptime and overall performance ratio (PR).
  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards (ISO 45001:2018, ISO 55001:2014 preferred).
  • Support in implementing asset lifecycle management and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure plant emergencies are handled per the approved Emergency Response Plan (ERP).

Site Visits & Audits

  • Conduct periodic physical inspections and audits across cluster sites.
  • Identify and report non-compliance, and ensure closure of audit observations.
  • Travel to remote site locations as and when required.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and analytical tools for performance monitoring.
  • Familiarity with SCADA, Remote Monitoring Systems, and reporting dashboards.
